# Bundled Service Packages Six bundles, each priced below the sum of its components at posted rates, so the difference is a subtraction you can perform from two published numbers. Bundles exist because setup labour is shared, not because anything is discounted. Buying one you only half need costs more than buying the part you need. ## The saving on this page is a subtraction, not a claim Each bundle shows two figures: the sum of its component price bands at posted rates, and the bundle band. The difference between them is the saving, and you can perform that subtraction yourself from numbers published elsewhere on this site. Nothing on this page says a percentage off anything, because a percentage is an assertion about a price that was never charged, and an assertion needs a source. The component sums are arithmetic on the band table rather than estimates. Add the low bounds of the components and you get the bundle sum low bound. That construction is the reason this page can exist on a site that refuses unsourced numbers: two sums and a difference need only the rate card, which is already public. ## Where the difference actually comes from Setup is the answer, and it is unglamorous. Getting a coach into position, masking an area, pulling a panel, raising access to a roof, and putting a technician on the vehicle all cost hours that are paid once whether one job follows or three. A roof recoat and a slide seal replacement performed in the same visit share the access. Performed six months apart they pay for it twice. That has a limit worth stating. Bundles only work where the components genuinely share setup, which is why these six are grouped the way they are rather than assembled from whatever was popular. A pairing that shares nothing physical would be a discount with no mechanism behind it, and this shop does not publish those. ## Three situations where buying one of these costs you money If you need one component and not the others, buy the one. A bundle whose second and third items you did not need is more expensive than the single service, and the fact that it looks cheaper than the sum of three things is irrelevant when you only wanted one. This is the most common way an owner loses money on a page like this. If a component would be done anyway inside a larger repair, do not buy it separately here either. Work performed while a coach is already open costs a fraction of the same work as its own visit, so an owner with a collision repair scheduled should raise the punch list at teardown rather than buying a bundle to run alongside it. And if the vehicle has a suspected structural or water problem, diagnosis comes first: bundling maintenance onto an unknown is how a soft floor gets sealed under new flooring. ## The terms behind every bundle on this page Bundle bands are ranges for the same reason every other band on this site is: the work varies. A roof reseal on a coach that has been maintained is not the same job as one on a coach that sat inland for two seasons, and the band is wide enough to hold both. The figure you are quoted is written against your vehicle after somebody has looked at it. The standing terms apply unchanged. Nothing here is priced below $500. A 50 percent deposit applies at authorisation on work over $2,000. Sales tax of 7.75 percent applies to parts and materials and labour is not taxed. Materials calculate from the hours written, at $55 per paint hour and $5 per body hour, with hazmat at $45 flat where chemicals, refrigerant or LP are involved. The balance is due at pickup, and a 3.5 percent surcharge applies to card payments over $1,000. ## Questions ### How does a bundled service package price against booking the same jobs separately? Bundles save setup, not labour. Roof recoat, slide seal replacement and a full detail booked together share one intake, one masking session and one lift cycle, and that overlap is where the difference comes from. Booked separately across three visits, you pay each setup three times. Nothing is priced below $500 either way, and the posted labour rates do not change inside a bundle. What changes is the hours count. ### Can a posted package be combined with an insurance claim? The covered work and the package stay on separate lines, and that separation protects you. A carrier pays for damage from the loss, not for maintenance you chose to do while the unit was already open. Bundling them onto one line invites the whole line to be questioned.
